The 45th Security Forces Squadron held an open house at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., May 18, 2016, during National Police Week, to honor all law enforcement and first responders who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The 45th Security Forces Squadron held a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil an upgraded military working dog obedience yard at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., May 11, 2016.The ceremony included a military working dog demonstration and featured Chiefs of Police and local law enforcement K-9 officers from across Brevard County. Among the upgrades include a canopy which lowers the temperature 10 to 20 degrees and keeps the team training year-round all while reducing the impact of rain, sun and heat on our training operations.
