John Faulkner, 45th Civil Engineer Squadron deputy, helped with the release of the Juvenile red-shouldered hawk Jan. 26, 2017, at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. The hawk was found near the Trident Basin Dec. 8, 2016, unable to fly and was then transported to the Florida Wildlife Hospital where they discovered he had two detached retinas. Changes to reserved parking across the installation have materialized over the past three months. In that time, the 45th Civil Engineer Squadron has removed, installed or modified more than 750 reserved parking signs at Patrick Air Force Base and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla.
