Guardian Challenge 2010

Guardian Challenge

Guardian Challenge has historically been a biannual space and missiles competition. Missiles competitions will not be part of the 2010 GC competition. Missile units transferred to AF Global Strike Command Dec. 1, 2009, and will not be included in this year's GC. Cyberspace units will take their place for the first time as 24th AF joins AFSPC.

GC 2010 completions will include space operators, network warriors, security forces, communication Airmen, and combat communication Airmen. NAF-run space and cyber related competition events will take place in various Air Force locations beginning in March 2010.

Culmination events, including the score posting and awards ceremony will take place in May 20-21, 2010, at Peterson AFB, Colo.
