11/7/2012 - PATRICK AFB, Fla. -- Members of the 45th Space Wing participated in an outreach show called the "American Hero Experience" on Monday, Nov. 5. The show honors those wounded in combat and promotes the therapeutic benefits of free fresh-water fishing. Brig. Gen. Anthony Cotton, commander, 45th Space Wing, said he was glad to have members participate.
"Shows such as these help raise awareness of what our Servicemembers do and the sacrifices they make that impact every aspect of our lives," said Gen. Cotton. "It's humbling to know our troops don't expect anything in return for their sacrifices; this is what makes them heroes."
