Naughton. “Currently, our clinic handles well over 60,000 patient visits each year and these renovations will certainly enhance the already stellar care provided to our patients by our medics.”

Historic tower at Launch Complex 13 toppled

CAPE CANAVERAL AFS, Fla. – The historic 179-foot mobile service tower at Launch Complex 13 was demolished here Aug. 6. There were 51 launches of Atlas and Atlas/Agena vehicles from this tower from 1958 to 1978, including five Lunar Orbiter missions that photographed about 99 percent of the moon’s surface – paving the way for the first manned moon landing.

Cape Canaveral Lighthouse

CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, Fla.—Construction workers guide the 18,000-pound roof and lamp room to the ground from atop the 151-foot Cape Canaveral Lighthouse. The structures were removed as part of an ongoing renovation project. This is the first time the original lamp room has been separated from the lighthouse base in more than 100 years.
