Mr. Don Winterich, director of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, and Lt. Col. Jennifer Cline, 45th Staff Judge Advocate, welcome Brig. Gen. Anthony Cotton, 45th Space Wing commander, to the Tax Center Feb. 3, 2012. VITA provides free income tax return preparation for all Active Duty, Reserve, and Retired Military and Civilian Personnel of the Patrick AFB community, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., inside the south entrance of the Shark Center. Bronze Star awarded to Lt. Col. David L. Hamby, commander, Detachment 3, 45th Operations Group
PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Col. Denette Sleeth, 45th Operations Group commander, congratulates Lt. Col. David L. Hamby, commander, Detachment 3, 45 OG, for his receipt of the Bronze Star Medal on Jan. 24, 2012. Colonel Hamby distinguished himself while engaged in ground operations as commander of the 26th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron, Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, from Nov. 6, 2010 to March 2, 2011.

sacrifices. I want to assure you that we are doing everything in our power
to continue to tell the story of what happened here so that it may never be
forgotten,” said the commander of the 45th Space Wing.
