The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has predicted Thanksgiving Day to
be the deadliest driving holiday and New Years Eve follows right behind it. “Safe driving is vitally important, especially during the holiday season.” said Chief Master Sgt. Calvin Williams, 45th Space Wing Command Chief.

CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, Fla. -- NASA's Mars Science Laboratory with is centerpiece Curiosity rover, depicted here, is scheduled to launch aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket Saturday from Launch Complex 41. CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, Fla. - A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket with NASA’s Mars Science Lab (MSL) rover Curiosity rolls out to its Space Launch Complex-41 launch pad, arriving at 8:40 a.m. EST today. After landing on Mars in August 2012, MSL’s prime mission will last one Martian year (nearly two Earth years). Researchers will use the rover’s tools to study whether the landing region has environmental conditions favorable for supporting microbial life. WWII Vets Honored with Trip to Memorial
Two generations of military women met, during an Honor Flight, when Midshipmen from the Naval Academy thanked Leota Cahall for opening doors for women in service during World War II. Cahall served in the 311th General Hospital in the Philippines as an Army nurse. Honor Flights take WW II veterans to visit the memorial in their honor at no cost to the veteran.
