Located at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, the 45th Operations Group operates the Eastern Range and launches space vehicles for Department of Defense (DoD), NASA, the United States, and international commercial customers.

Project Emeritus Volunteers
YOU ARE STILL NEEDED!
Project Emeritus is a program to solicit volunteers from the retired military and civil service population and their spouses to assist base personnel in mission support operations. Project Emeritus volunteers have been assigned to work at numerous base locations, including base personnel, the wellness center, the base visitor center and the golf course. They are used at Patrick Air Force Base, Cape Canaveral and the Warbird Museum in Titusville. Volunteers give a minimum of 4 hours a week to support active duty airmen. They set their own schedules, working in an area of interest or expertise they select. Many agencies need assistance. If you're interested please call (321) 494-7656.
