The 45th Space Wing is commanded by Brig. Gen. Douglas A. Schiess
The wing is organized into four groups to accomplish its mission:
Conducts mission assurance on launch vehicle and spacecraft processing from flight hardware arrival through launch.
Operates and maintains the Eastern Range assets and responsible for airfield operations, weather and communication support.
-Mission Support Group:
Provides support through various functions to the people and mission.
Provides medical, dental, environmental and public health services.
